The opportunity is to join a growing infrastructure investment and development business focused on supporting the next generation of AI compute in Australia. The business is building the foundations for future growth, with a focus on infrastructure development, strategic partnerships and delivering projects that support Australia's evolving digital infrastructure needs.

The Role

As IT & Systems Lead, you’ll build the technology foundations of a fast-growing AI infrastructure venture, creating the secure, scalable digital environment needed to support ambitious business growth. Combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, you’ll shape everything from cloud platforms and cybersecurity to enterprise systems and workplace technology. This is an opportunity to take ownership, introduce smarter ways of working and ensure technology becomes a powerful enabler of business performance.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Design and deliver the IT strategy, establishing scalable cloud infrastructure, business systems, networking and digital workplace capabilities to support business growth.
- Lead cybersecurity, identity and access management, endpoint protection, data governance and disaster recovery to safeguard systems and information.
- Manage Microsoft 365, Azure environments, business applications and technology vendors, ensuring reliable services, effective support and value for money.
- Partner with project and leadership teams to deliver technology solutions, establish systems architecture and standards, and identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and AI.
- Build and continuously improve the internal technology function, balancing hands-on troubleshooting and employee support with long-term systems planning and risk management.

What You’ll Bring:

- A degree in IT,



computer science, engineering or a related discipline, with demonstrated experience across IT infrastructure, systems administration, cybersecurity or technology leadership.
- Strong technical expertise in cloud platforms, Microsoft 365, Azure, enterprise systems, identity management and modern workplace technologies.
- Demonstrated experience implementing secure, reliable and scalable technology environments, ideally within a growing or project-driven organisation.
- A sound understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, information governance, business continuity and disaster recovery, with the ability to manage technical risks effectively.
- A proactive approach, combining strong problem-solving and vendor management skills with the ability to communicate clearly and deliver practical technology solutions.
