An exciting opportunity exists for a Linux & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join a highly skilled operations team supporting enterprise Linux environments, cloud infrastructure, and business-critical applications.

This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on infrastructure support, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and working across Linux, cloud, monitoring, and automation technologies in a secure and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Support and maintain Linux server environments
- Perform system patching, upgrades, and routine maintenance activities
- Monitor system health, availability, and performance
- Investigate and resolve incidents, problems, and service requests
- Support cloud infrastructure and platform services
- Assist with application deployments and environment upgrades
- Contribute to operational documentation, procedures, and knowledge sharing
- Support security, compliance, and vulnerability remediation activities
- Work collaboratively within a broader operations and engineering team

Skills & Experience

Essential

- Experience administering and supporting Linux environments (RHEL/CentOS/Rocky Linux or similar)
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills




- Understanding of infrastructure and networking fundamentals
- Experience working within IT operations, infrastructure support, or cloud operations teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable

- Exposure to Microsoft Azure administration and cloud services
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Azure Monitor, or similar
- Red Hat Satellite administration experience
- Scripting experience using Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform
- Understanding of security hardening, patch management, and compliance requirements

Security Requirements

- Current AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance (minimum mandatory requirement)
