Local Government Project Manager | NSW / QLD, Australia | Consulting Opportunity

Winning Consulting is seeking an experienced Local Government Project Manager to support an upcoming public sector consulting panel opportunity with a local council in Recent South Wales.
We are looking for a professional with strong experience in local government project delivery, integrated planning and reporting, and council operations.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years of project management experience within or supporting NSW local councils.
- Experience delivering corporate, operational or grant-funded projects (non-construction).
- Strong understanding of the NSW Integrated Planning and Reporting (IP&R;) Framework.
- Experience with council reporting, project governance and grant acquittals.
- AIPM, PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly regarded.
- Based in NSW or QLD,
with the ability to travel to Ballina when required.
Engagement Details:
- Independent consultant / subcontractor arrangement (ABN required).
- Potential engagement over a 30-month consulting panel term.
- Assignments subject to council requirements and work package allocation; no guaranteed workload.
- Expected panel decision: January 2027.
