Disability Support Workers - Brisbane East & Inner South

Cannon Hill, Coorparoo, Balmoral and surrounding Brisbane suburbs, QLD | Casual / Temporary / Flexible Rosters / Ongoing Opportunities

KEY DUTIES

- Provide person-centred personal care and daily-living support
- Support protected manual handling, transfers and mobility
- Assist with medication and agreed care routines
- Support community access, appointments and participation
- Complete accurate progress notes and communicate with the care team

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum two years' disability or complex-care experience
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, Health Care or a related qualification
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or relevant state clearance
- Current manual-handling and medication-administration certification
- Driver licence, reliable transport and appropriate vehicle insurance where client transport is required




- Australian work rights

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE OR LICENCES

- ABI, TBI or behavioural-support experience
- Bowel, catheter, PEG, epilepsy or other complex-care experience
- Working With Children Check where required
- Experience working within a 24/7 home-care team

SHIFT AND AVAILABILITY

AM, PM, active-night and sleepover shifts may be available across seven-day rosters. Record your regular availability and any restrictions clearly.

INDICATIVE MARKET PAY

$35-$45 per hour + super; penalties may apply

Based on live advertised rates reviewed September 2026. The actual rate will depend on the employer, award or agreement, employment type, duties, shift, penalties and overtime
