Qualifications & experience
- Minimum 6 months of paid experience in Australia as a PCA in Aged care.
- A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care
- A passion for providing quality, relationship-based individual care
- An uncompromising standard of care delivered with compassion, dignity, and respect
- A positive and flexible attitude
- Ability to work in a team and independently
Tasks & responsibilities
The Personal Care Assistant is responsible for providing quality care, services, and recreational activities to the residents.
- Reporting all incidents and changes in resident behavior in a timely manner to RNs
- Complete all activities related to Residents' Care documentation Plans and ensure high compliance with relevant documentation processes
- Participate in activities aimed at the continuous improvement of services
