Qualified Carpenter (consider 3rd or 4th year apprentice)

You'll work alongside our team and various trades across a wide range of projects. NKA Building & Maintenance specialises in high-quality residential renovations, residential maintenance projects, NDIS and aged care projects. The role involves working in vacant, occupied homes and aged care projects.

Key responsibilities

- Demolition and structural preparation
- Internal wall alterations
- Timber framing and rectification work
- Door and window installation
- Hanging doors, hardware and finishing work
- Skirting, architraves and trims
- Flooring and subfloor repairs
- Construction of decks, verandahs and external carpentry
- Kitchen and bathroom preparation

Our Requirements

- Qualified carpenter (will consider 3rd or 4th year apprentice)
- Residential renovation experience
- Excellent finishing skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required
- Valuable problem-solving skills – particularly with existing homes and renovation work
- Own hand tools
- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- White Card
- Good communication skills, punctual and reliable
