This role partners with Application, Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Service Management, and Operations teams to deliver end-to-end visibility, reduce operational toil, strengthen alert quality, and support continuous service improvement across managed services and cloud environments.

- Design, implement, and maintain observability solutions using Dynatrace across applications, infrastructure, cloud services, Kubernetes, databases, middleware, APIs, and user experience channels.
- Administer and manage Dynatrace capabilities including OneAgent, ActiveGate, management zones, tagging strategies, alerting profiles, dashboards, extensions, integrations, and tenant configuration.
- Implement monitoring coverage across metrics, logs, traces, events, synthetic monitoring, Real User Monitoring, service flows, and distributed tracing.
- Configure effective dashboards, service health views, SLOs, SLIs, anomaly detection rules, and alert thresholds aligned to business criticality and operational priorities.
- Use Dynatrace Davis AI, PurePath, service flow, log analytics, and performance insights to support root cause analysis, incident triage, and problem management.
- Partner with application and platform teams to onboard services into Dynatrace and ensure monitoring is built into new releases, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
- Support proactive monitoring, incident prevention, availability improvement, performance tuning, and service reliability initiatives across SLA-driven managed services environments.
- Integrate Dynatrace with ServiceNow, CI/CD pipelines, event management, collaboration tools, and automation workflows to improve alert enrichment, ticket creation, and operational response.
- Develop automation scripts and observability-as-code approaches using APIs, Terraform, Monaco, Python, Shell, PowerShell, or similar tooling where applicable.
- Create and maintain monitoring standards, dashboard templates, alerting guidelines, runbooks, knowledge articles, and operational documentation.
- Work with Cyber Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Application teams to ensure observability solutions follow enterprise security, access, privacy, and compliance requirements.

- Identify monitoring gaps, noisy alerts, recurring failures, technical debt, and improvement opportunities, and support remediation through clear action plans and reporting.

Your responsibilities will also include working with cross-functional teams to understand service criticality, define monitoring use cases, improve operational visibility, and ensure dashboards, alerts, and runbooks support effective production operations. To be successful in this role you will have:
- Hands-on experience with Dynatrace SaaS or Managed environments, preferably in enterprise or managed services operations.
- Strong knowledge of Dynatrace OneAgent, ActiveGate, dashboards, alerting profiles, management zones, tagging, synthetic monitoring, RUM, PurePath, Davis AI, and log analytics.
- Good understanding of observability fundamentals across metrics, logs, traces, events, service dependencies, user experience monitoring, and SLO/SLI design.
- Experience monitoring cloud and container platforms such as AWS, Kubernetes, EKS, EC2, Lambda, databases, middleware, and API-based services.
- Experience integrating observability platforms with ServiceNow, event management, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tooling, collaboration channels, and automation workflows.
- Automation and scripting skills using Python, Shell, PowerShell, YAML, Terraform, Dynatrace APIs, Monaco, or similar tooling.
- Experience working in SLA-driven BAU or managed services environments with positive understanding of incident, problem, change, and service improvement practices.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to connect technical symptoms to business impact and service risk.
- Ability to create monitoring use cases, operational dashboards, runbooks, knowledge articles, and service health reports.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with application, infrastructure, cloud, security, service management, and leadership teams.

To help us level up, you'll ideally have:

- 6–12 years of experience in observability, monitoring, SRE, DevOps, platform engineering, infrastructure, application support, or production operations roles.
- Proven experience implementing or operating Dynatrace at enterprise scale, including onboarding applications, tuning alerts, building dashboards, and supporting operational adoption.
- Experience supporting hybrid cloud or AWS environments, Kubernetes platforms, microservices, APIs, middleware, databases, and distributed applications.
- Strong understanding of ITIL, Agile, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering principles, especially around reliability, incident prevention, and continuous improvement.
- Experience working with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools for event correlation, incident creation, ticket enrichment, and operational reporting.
- Ability to translate monitoring data into service insights, executive-level summaries, risk indicators, and measurable improvement opportunities.
- Dynatrace Associate, Professional, or Implementation certification preferred.
- AWS, Kubernetes, ITIL, SRE, DevOps, Terraform, or cloud certifications highly regarded.

If you only meet some of the requirements for this role, that's okay…We value a diverse range of backgrounds and practical experience. If you have strong observability fundamentals, curiosity to learn, and the ability to improve how teams detect, understand, and resolve issues, we'd love to hear from you.

Bonus points if you have:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a relevant field.
- Experience with complementary observability tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Splunk, or OpenTelemetry.
- Experience supporting transition, onboarding, or uplift of monitoring practices across multiple application teams.
- Exposure to performance engineering, capacity planning, resilience testing, or production readiness reviews.
