Gilgandra Shire Council is seeking Labourers to join the Infrastructure team!

- Permanent full time - 38 hours per week
- Rostered day off every fortnight - an extra 22 days off a year!
- Weekly pay cycle
- Salary range $1096.55 - $1292.58 per week

ABOUT THE ROLE

To carry out general labouring duties as directed in a safe and productive manner.

Within that environment the major challenges for the position of Labourer are to:

- To carry out duties in an enthusiastic, energetic manner to the quality and scope indicated by the Team Leader.
- Keep accurate timesheets and plant sheets.
- Operate and maintain items of plant and equipment when requested.
- To carry out duties unsupervised for short periods of time.
- Comply with all Work, Health & Safety Policies and procedures implemented by Council.

ABOUT YOU

Council is looking for someone who has the following qualities, experience and or qualifications:

- Current Driver Licence
- Possession of WorkCover WH&S; Construction Induction Training (White Card)
- Basic skills operating a wide range of small plant & equipment/hand/tools
- Experience in general labouring duties
- Knowledge and understanding of WH&S; and ability to wear PPE




- Sound literacy and numeracy skills
