Nurse Practitioner | Cairns, Far North Queensland

n Surematch Recruitment is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join an established integrative medical clinic in Cairns. The clinic brings together GPs and a range of complementary therapies under one roof, giving patients holistic, coordinated care.
n This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate practitioner with strong clinical assessment skills, sound prescribing judgement and a genuine interest in individualised, whole-person care.

About the role

- Conduct comprehensive consultations, reviewing medical histories, symptoms and previous treatments.
n
- Assess patient needs, including contraindications and medication interactions.
n
- Develop individualised treatment plans and prescribe where clinically appropriate.
n
- Educate patients about their treatment options, advantages, risks and monitoring requirements.
n
- Provide follow-up consultations to review progress and adjust care as needed.
n
- Maintain accurate clinical records and meet all prescribing and regulatory requirements.
n




- Work alongside GPs and allied and complementary therapists to deliver coordinated, multidisciplinary care.

About you

- Current AHPRA registration with endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner.
n
- Robust clinical assessment, reasoning and medication management skills.
n
- Ability to practise autonomously within your scope of practice.
n
- A compassionate, professional and non-judgemental approach.
n
- Excellent communication and patient education skills.
n
- Openness to integrative and collaborative models of care.
n
- Commitment to safe prescribing and ongoing professional development.
n
- Based in Cairns or willing to relocate.
n
