Medacs Healthcare is recruiting experienced Remote Area Nurses (N4), Remote Area Nurse/Midwives (RANM), and Health Centre Managers (N5) for multiple contract opportunities across the Top End of the Northern Territory.

We currently have a high volume of vacancies available across remote Aboriginal communities, island communities, and remote health services, with immediate starts, short-term relief assignments, and ongoing placements available throughout the remainder of 2026.

About the Roles

- Deliver comprehensive primary health care services
- Manage acute and emergency presentations
- Undertake chronic disease management and care planning
- Support child, family, and community health programs
- Deliver preventive health and health promotion initiatives




- Work autonomously within multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in after-hours on-call rosters

✅ Essential Requirements

- Current AHPRA registration
- REC, MEC, or equivalent remote emergency qualification
- Demonstrated remote primary health care experience
- Solid autonomous clinical practice skills
- Australian Federal Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- NT Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- 4WD Certificate
- Full Australian working rights
