About the Role

As an NV1 Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and professional environment while delivering a high standard of customer service. This role combines access control, monitoring and surveillance, incident response, and customer-facing responsibilities. You will play a key role in protecting people, property, and assets while ensuring all security procedures and site requirements are consistently upheld.

Shifts: Day and Night Shifts | Weekdays and Weekends

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the arrival and departure of employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Maintain accurate visitor and contractor registers.
- Issue and monitor access control credentials, including visitor passes.
- Monitor and review CCTV systems, including retrieval of historical footage when required.
- Operate walk-through and handheld metal detection equipment.
- Maintain a professional, approachable, and visible security presence.
- Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance.
- Identify, assess, and report security risks,



taking appropriate action in accordance with site procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all client, site, and company security protocols.
- Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records and documentation.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- A current and valid Security Licence.
- An active NV1 Security Clearance (essential).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a security role.
- Availability to work a variety of day and night shifts, including weekdays and weekends.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to conduct patrols when required.
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
- The ability to work independently while following established procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A professional presentation and customer-focused approach.
- A proven track record of reliability, accountability, and punctuality.
- Full Australian working rights.
- Defence Force veterans and ex-service personnel are encouraged to apply.
