About the Opportunity

A market-leading enterprise managing complex, high-scale physical infrastructure is seeking an experienced Management / Strategy Consultant to lead a mission-critical strategic design engagement.

In this role, you will define and operationalise a comprehensive, long-term resource optimisation and security strategy. The organisation operates substantial asset-intensive operations where supply continuity, risk mitigation, and systemic efficiency are vital to overall commercial resilience.

This is a focused, high-impact contract aimed at delivering board-ready recommendations, operating frameworks, and capital allocation priorities.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Assessment & Baselining: Conduct a thorough assessment of current asset performance, usage profiles, and critical resource consumption across multi-site operating footprints.
- Risk & Scenario Modelling: Build robust scenario models evaluating operational vulnerabilities, external regulatory constraints, input volatility, and long-term sustainability impacts.
- Framework Design: Develop a master resource management blueprint, encompassing sourcing resilience, infrastructure redundancy, process modernisation, and capital investment sequencing.
- Executive Advisory: Partner closely with executive leadership and operational stakeholders to pressure-test hypotheses, synthesize technical inputs into strategic trade-offs, and deliver clear, actionable roadmaps.
- Implementation Roadmap: Establish governance frameworks, key performance indicators (KPIs), and transitional milestones ready for executive sign-off and operational handover.

Candidate Profile

- Consulting Pedigree: Prior engagement experience at a Tier 1, 2,



or 3 strategy or management consultancy (e.g., MBB, Oliver Wyman, L.E.K, Kearney, Roland Berger, Big 4 Strategy/Advisory, or boutique equivalent) is strongly preferred.
- Strategic Problem Solver: Demonstrated track record of structuring ambiguous operational or resource-constraint problems from first principles into clear commercial frameworks.
- Financial & Scenario Modelling: High proficiency in cost-benefit analysis, capital allocation logic, and risk-weighted decision-making for capital-intensive environments.
- Executive Presence: Proven ability to interface with C-suite stakeholders, bridge operational realities with high-level corporate strategy, and produce structured, top-tier deliverables.
- Domain Adaptability: While experience in asset-heavy, commodities, supply-chain, or industrial environments is an advantage, exceptional core consulting toolkit, structured thinking, and analytical rigour are the primary prerequisites.
