Candii is recruiting 10 experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technicians for a 100% Australian-owned services business with more than 20 years in the industry. They have established depots in Perth, Karratha and Port Hedland and are growing all three teams.
These are permanent, full time roles with strong rates and real choice in how you work. Stay in Perth, base yourself in the Pilbara, or fly in and fly out on a roster. Whichever you pick, the work is steady and the team is already in place.
Choose how you work
- Perth: metro-based role working out of the Perth depot
- Pilbara residential: live and work in Karratha or Port Hedland, with housing assistance or a relocation fee
- Pilbara FIFO: fly in and fly out to Karratha or Port Hedland on a roster
The package
- $55 to $65+ per hour, depending on your experience
- Overtime and penalties paid on top of your base rate
- Housing assistance, a relocation fee or FIFO for Pilbara roles

- Training, upskilling and a clear path into senior tech, supervisor or management roles
The work
You’ll look after commercial and industrial clients,
mixing scheduled maintenance with breakdowns, repairs and installs. Expect to work on:
- Split, ducted and VRV/VRF systems
- Chillers and mechanical plant
- Commercial refrigeration, cool rooms and freezer rooms
- Controls and BMS
Your jobs come through dispatch, and once you’re on the road you run your own day.
You’ll need
- Cert III in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent)
- Current ARCtick licence
- Current driver’s licence
- Restricted electrical licence (where applicable)
- Solid commercial HVAC/R experience, including fault-finding
- The confidence to work on your own and look after clients on site
It helps if you have
- EWP, Working at Heights or Confined Space tickets
- BMS / controls experience
- Commercial refrigeration or process cooling experience
- A background on industrial, mining or large commercial sites
