City Venue Management (CVM) is offering paid School-Based Traineeships across the Gold Coast!
This is a great opportunity for current year 10 students on a Vocational Major pathway to gain hands‑on industry experience while working towards a Certificate III in Sport, Aquatics and Recreation.
What’s involved?
- 563 hours of paid, on-the-job training, usually completed over 12–18 months
- Students can earn QCE points towards their senior schooling
- Gain industry qualifications, including CPR, First Aid and Swim Teaching, with the opportunity to become a qualified Pool Lifeguard
- Develop practical skills in swim schools, customer service and aquatic operations
This is a excellent opportunity for students to take the first steps towards a career as a Swim Teacher, Pool Lifeguard or Duty Manager, all while gaining valuable workplace experience.
