Role Description The Residential Care Services Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Perth Area, primarily at SwanCare’s Bentley Park campus. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of residential aged care services, ensuring high-quality, person-centered care, compliance with regulatory standards, and effective resource management.

Responsibilities include leading and supporting care teams, coordinating clinical and lifestyle services, managing rostering and budgets, and maintaining accurate documentation and reporting. The manager collaborates with residents, families,



and multidisciplinary teams to address care needs, resolve concerns, and enhance resident experience. The role also involves driving continuous improvement initiatives, supporting staff development, and promoting a protected, inclusive, and respectful environment for residents and team members.

Qualifications

- Relevant tertiary qualification in nursing, allied health, social work, or a related field, with current professional registration where applicable.
- Demonstrated experience in residential aged care or similar care settings, including managing care services and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coach, mentor, and support staff performance and wellbeing.
- Sound knowledge of aged care quality standards, regulatory compliance requirements, and best practices in clinical governance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in care management systems, documentation, and basic digital literacy to support reporting and operational efficiency.
- Well-developed problem-solving, decision-making, and organisational skills, with the capacity to manage competing priorities.
- Commitment to person-centered care, diversity, inclusion, and safeguarding the rights and dignity of older adults.
- Previous experience in a management or supervisory role within aged care or health services is highly desirable.
