About the role
We are looking to hire a highly motivated Senior IT Delivery Coordinator who enjoys turning technology into real results for the business. Reporting to the Head of Information Technology, you will help deliver Geocon’s IT Strategy, lead projects from idea to handover, and act as the go-to technology partner for teams across the Group.
This is a hands-on role that combines project delivery with day-to-day IT administration and support. You will work across platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Autodesk Construction Cloud and Microsoft 365, help shape the technology roadmap, and step in to lead the IT function when needed.
You will work with teams across Legal, HR, Finance, Hotels, Sales, Development and Construction, as well as external vendors and implementation partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead IT projects end to end, including scoping, business cases, planning, budgets, risks and handover into business as usual
- Manage the IT project portfolio and keep delivery on track against the IT roadmap
- Manage vendors and implementation partners, including statements of work, milestones and acceptance testing
- Partner with business teams to understand their needs and turn them into practical solutions
- Lead user adoption, training and change management for new systems
- Contribute to IT strategy, governance, security and AI initiatives
- Act as an escalation point for the IT service desk and major incidents
- Provide hands-on IT administration and support, including Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, onboarding and offboarding, licences, devices and access management
- Administer and configure business platforms such as Salesforce, including user management, reports and minor changes
- Deputise for the Head of IT, including vendor escalations, incident response and reporting to senior leadership
Skills Required
- 5+ years’ experience in Information Technology
- Proven delivery of business system projects such as CRM, ERP or cloud implementations
- Experience managing vendors, budgets and timelines
- Solid technical understanding of cloud, Microsoft 365, networks, security and business applications
- Hands-on IT administration and support experience, including Microsoft 365, Entra ID or Active Directory, Salesforce and end-user devices
- Clear communicator who can work with everyone from frontline staff to senior leaders
- Sound judgement and the confidence to make decisions independently
Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Autodesk Construction Cloud, a background in property, construction or hospitality, exposure to IT governance, cyber security frameworks or AI initiatives, and a project management certification, ITIL Foundation or tertiary qualification in IT or business would be a bonus, but aren’t essential.
