Sous Chef – Full-time Blue Wren Farm | Mudgee, NSW Salary: $85,000–$95,000 plus superannuation
Blue Wren Farm is looking for a skilled Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at The Barn, our restaurant set among the vineyards of the Mudgee wine region. The Barn serves casual, Mediterranean-inspired food built around seasonal ingredients.
Blue Wren Farm also hosts weddings and food and wine events, giving the kitchen team the chance to prepare for a varied range of dining experiences. About the role Working closely with the Head Chef, you will help lead the kitchen and deliver consistent, well-presented food across restaurant service, events and weddings.
You’ll contribute to menu preparation, support and train the kitchen team, maintain food safety standards and help manage stock and kitchen operations. About you You are an experienced chef with robust kitchen skills and the confidence to support a team through busy service.
You take pride in quality, work well under pressure and enjoy cooking with seasonal produce. Experience in a supervisory role and with event or function service will be an advantage. This is a full-time position based at Blue Wren Farm in Mudgee.
