Your new company An exciting opportunity is available for two experienced SharePoint professionals to join a Queensland Government organisation during a significant intranet modernisation initiative. Working as part of a collaborative digital team, you will play a key role in the transition of a large-scale intranet platform to a contemporary SharePoint environment, helping to improve user experience, content accessibility and information management across the organisation.

This role will see you working closely with digital and project stakeholders to review, migrate and optimise intranet content, ensuring information is accurate, accessible and easy for users to find. You will contribute to content uplift activities, site improvements, testing, quality assurance and deployment activities, while supporting best practice standards for content governance and search functionality. Your recent role

Support the migration of content from legacy SharePoint environments into a modern platform. Build, update and maintain intranet pages and content structures. Review content for accuracy, consistency, usability and accessibility compliance.

Apply and manage metadata to improve searchability and information discovery. Coordinate content updates and assist with user acceptance testing activities.



Monitor progress and provide updates on deliverables, risks and issues.

Collaborate with digital, technical and project stakeholders to support successful delivery outcomes. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Hands-on experience working with SharePoint, including modern site administration and content management. Exposure to website, intranet or digital platform enhancement projects. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes. Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams. The confidence to identify challenges, propose solutions and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Understanding of accessibility, content governance and digital best practices will be highly regarded. What you'll get in return 6-month contract opportunity
