TRS Resourcing is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for permanent full-time positions with an established manufacturer.
With a strong pipeline of new and repeat business, our client is expanding its day shift team. These positions suit mechanically minded tradespeople who enjoy hands-on assembly, servicing and repair work.

The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Installing pneumatic airlines and mounting components
- Running electrical looms and completing wiring terminations within your qualifications and experience
- Diagnosing mechanical and pneumatic faults
- Servicing, repairing and maintaining tankers and associated equipment
- Working to engineering drawings and workshop specifications
- Ensuring work meets relevant quality, safety and road transport requirements
About You
To be successful, you will have:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and practical fitting experience
- The ability to interpret workshop and engineering drawings
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- The ability to prioritise tasks and work independently or within a team
- Your own standard tools
- A relevant trade qualification, desirable
- Current Australian working rights
- Two previous employers available as referees
- An existing base in Melbourne, Victoria
