Hands-on offsider role in Hume, supporting factory operations, glazing work and general material handling. Your new company Join a well-established manufacturing business operating from a busy facility in Hume. Due to ongoing work, they are looking for a reliable and physically fit Offsider to join their team.
Your new role This is a hands-on, physical role suited to someone who enjoys being active and isn't afraid of heavy lifting. Your day-to-day duties will include:
Heavy lifting and manual handling of glass and doors Assisting tradespeople with glazing work where required Moving materials safely around the factory
Loading, unloading and general offsider duties Keeping work areas clean, organised and safe Supporting the wider factory team as needed
What you'll need to succeed White Card Asbestos Awareness Card
Silica Awareness Card Solid physical fitness and confidence with repetitive heavy lifting A reliable attitude, common sense and willingness to get stuck in
Previous removalist, factory, warehouse or labouring experience would be highly regarded MR truck licence would be advantageous, but is not essential What you'll get in return
You'll have the opportunity to join a supportive team in Hume with consistent, hands-on work. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic who enjoys physical work and is looking to build further experience within a factory environment. You will be trained up on the machines in the factory and given weekly pay.
