David Corry PTY LTD (Marcia Gibson's Hair Fashions) Position: Senior Hair Stylist (Two positions available) Annual Salary: $80,000 plus 12% superannuation Job Type: Full-time (38 hours per week) About the Role We are seeking two skilled and experienced Senior Hair Stylists for an immediate start on a full time basis, working 38 hours per week from Everton Hills, QLD 4053. The successful candidates will be required to perform a variety of tasks, including:
- Consulting with clients to fully understand the final look desired, setting expectations for results and providing education regarding the upkeep needed for particular treatments and styles.
- Shampooing, conditioning, and drying hair.
- Application of products to hair to aid in straightening, curling, or styling using a wide range of appropriate equipment and products.
- Cutting, trimming,
and styling hair or hair pieces according to clients' wishes
- Maintaining clean, safe, and sanitised work areas.
- Making client bookings, maintaining client records and processing payments
Skills and Experience Required: For this position, it is expected that the candidate possesses the following qualifications and work experience:
- A Certificate III in hairdressing with at least 1 year of full-time experience working in a Hairdresser role.
This formal qualification can be substituted by at least 3 years of work experience in a Hairdresser role. Candidates with expertise in styling curly and coily hair, proficiency in online booking platforms, and strong social media skills to showcase their work and engage with clients will be highly regarded.
