Permanent Full time | Immediate Start | Double-Time Overtime | Local Work
A solid job. A skilled crew. A future close to home.
Looking for steady local work where your skills are valued and you can take pride in the finished product?
HIC Services is looking for experienced Industrial Painters to join our Mudgee team. If you come from an automotive or general painting background and want to move into industrial coatings, we’d like to hear from you too.
What’s in it for you?
- Permanent, full-time employment with an established business.
- Double-time overtime when overtime is approved and worked.
- Local Mudgee work across our workshop and nearby mine sites—be home every night.
- Practical training to develop your industrial painting and specialist coating skills.
- Support to obtain relevant tickets required for your role.
- An experienced team that values quality work, reliability and helping each other out.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll work across our Mudgee workshop and local mine sites, carrying out:
- Surface preparation and industrial spray painting.
- Application of protective coatings and wear-resistant finishes.
- Work on mining and heavy industrial equipment.
- Other workshop and site duties as needed—we all pitch in.
Experience in CHPPs or wash plants will be well regarded, but it isn’t essential.
What we’re looking for
You don’t need every ticket to get started. You do need:
- Around two years or more of painting experience, ideally in industrial, automotive or a related setting.
- Pride in your preparation, application and finished work.
- A strong commitment to safety and following procedures.
- Reliable attendance, a good attitude and a willingness to learn.
- The ability to work well with others and contribute wherever needed.
- Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
Working at Heights, Confined Space, EWP and LR/MR licences are useful. Training and licence support can be arranged to suit the role.
