We are seeking an experienced Van Technician to join a reputable main dealer in Northampton. This is a full-time Van Technician position offering excellent earning potential and career progression within a well-established dealership. The Van Technician will be an integral part of a dedicated team, working in a modern, fully equipped workshop with advanced diagnostic tools and manufacturer support.

- Competitive basic salary of £33,600 with attractive bonus potential, OTE £52,800.

Duties

- Diagnose, service, and repair light commercial vehicles to manufacturer standards.




- Perform routine vehicle health checks and diagnostics.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality work and qualified communication.
- Maintain safety and quality procedures at all times.
- Keep technical knowledge current through manufacturer training.
- Contribute to workshop productivity and efficiency.

Requirements

- NVQ/C&G; Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience as a Van Technician.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Previous main dealer experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
