We specialise in diagnosing, testing, repairing and maintaining mobile phones, tablets and laptops, including electronic fault diagnosis, component repairs and replacements, and technical troubleshooting. We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Electronic Equipment Trades Worker to join our team at our Bannockburn branch.

The successful applicant will be responsible for diagnosing electronic faults, repairing and replacing defective components, and testing repaired devices to ensure proper functionality. Benefits This is a Full Time position with an annual salary of $80000-$85000 plus superannuation. Task & responsibilities Inspect and test mobile phones, tablets and laptops to identify electrical and electronic faults, including charging, display, connectivity and other operational issues. Diagnose faults in electronic circuits, internal components and electrical connections to determine appropriate repair procedures. Examine, repair and replace faulty or damaged electronic components, including screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, speakers, microphones, sensors and connectors. Disassemble and reassemble devices to access internal components, carry out repairs and ensure all parts are correctly fitted. Use appropriate electronic testing, diagnostic and repair tools to identify faults and carry out repairs.



Check and adjust device components and settings to restore proper operation and functionality. Carry out routine maintenance, inspections and troubleshooting to resolve device faults and prevent recurring problems. Refer to technical diagrams, service manuals and manufacturer specifications when diagnosing faults and determining repair procedures. Test repaired devices to check display, charging, sound, connectivity and other functions, ensuring repairs meet quality and safety standards. Assess repair requirements, estimate costs and provide customers with accurate quotations for proposed repairs. Explain identified faults, repair options and completed work to customers, and provide advice on proper device care and operation. Maintain accurate records of repairs, replacement parts and services performed, and keep tools and work areas clean, organised and secure. Qualification & experience Certificate III in Electronics and Communications or a relevant equivalent qualification. Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience . Good understanding of electronic components, device hardware, fault diagnosis and repair procedures. Sound knowledge of electronic testing, diagnostic and repair tools. Ability to identify faults, carry out repairs independently and perform accurate quality checks. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and good customer communication skills.
