Our client is a growing business based in Lonsdale, looking for a Customer Service Officer to help with customer enquiries and day-to-day order support. This temporary role offers five days per week, with an ASAP start.
This role will suit someone who enjoys helping customers, has a good phone manner and can confidently handle enquiries while learning about a new product range. You don t need to have all the answers from day one, but you will need to be comfortable taking messages, asking questions and passing more detailed enquiries to the appropriate person.
So, what's the role?
You ll support the team with day-to-day customer service and administration, including:

- Answering incoming calls, taking transparent messages and escalating enquiries where required
- Responding to basic customer emails about products, orders and deliveries
- Assisting with order processing and maintaining accurate customer records
- Liaising with internal teams on customer requests and order updates
- Providing general administrative support.





What are we looking for?

We re looking for someone with:

- Previous customer service experience, ideally within a product-based business
- A friendly, confident phone manner and clear written communication
- The confidence to handle calls while building your product knowledge
- Good attention to detail and the ability to keep track of customer enquiries
- Confidence using computer systems and learning new processes
- Availability to start ASAP and work five days per week in Lonsdale.
