A growing Australian insurer is expanding its technology team and investing in the next generation of its digital platforms. This is a hands-on senior role building customer and partner-facing solutions on a modern Angular, Node.js and Azure stack, with APIs at the heart of a multi-tenant platform that supports several partner brands.
You will work closely with the Technical Development Lead and contribute across the full lifecycle, from solution design and build through to testing, deployment and continuous improvement. It suits an engineer who enjoys owning features end to end and wants a genuine say in how a strategic platform evolves.
The role

- Build modern web applications with Angular, Type Script, Node.js and .NET
- Develop front-end solutions, backend services and APIs, and integrations with internal and external systems
- Turn business requirements into scalable, secure and maintainable solutions on a multi-tenant platform
- Write clean, well-tested code, take part in code reviews and use AI-assisted tools to lift quality and pace
- Support deployment, monitoring and troubleshooting alongside developers, technical leads and business stakeholders

What you'll bring





- Strong commercial Angular and Type Script experience (essential, applications without Angular will not be shortlisted)
- Full stack experience including Node.js, REST APIs and cloud-based applications
- Solid HTML, CSS, responsive design and accessibility skills
- Automated testing, Git and team-oriented development workflows
- Practical, hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT or Claude

A tertiary qualification in Software Development, IT or a related field is required. Experience with .NET or Azure will be well regarded.
