As a Supervisor with AES, you are responsible for supervisingand leading a team of multi skilled equipment maintenance personnelin a safe and cost-effective achievement for the length of theproject.

In this role you will be responsiblefor:
- Ensure that the work plans for the job are followed
- Conduct formal daily workplace inspections with follow-upactions of any substandard conditions or practicesidentified
- Assist in the identification of the need for andpreparation of JHAs and work procedures
- Run daily prestart meetings to discuss issues includingwork procedures, JHA requirements, incidents, near misses,hazards identified, employee concerns and job progress. Minutesof meetings to be recorded and retained
- Ensure all employees are informed of hazards in their workareas and activities as they become known
- Ensure that the AES safety management plan for the task athand is implemented and complied with
- Receives hazard reports from personnel and activelycontrols the hazard
- Actively encourages site OH&S; targets to be met
- Perform any additional tasks as directed which are withinyour skill, qualification and competence level.
What we are looking for:
- Australian Manual Drivers Licence
- Australian/NZ Recognised Trade Certificate
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within the civil or miningsectors
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Supervisor in the civil ormining sectors.
- S26 Statutory Supervisor Training (desired)
- Exposure to managing groups of tradespeople
