Galuwa Dining is a newly established dining venue located within the Galuwa Recreational Centre at 180 River Road, Lane Cove NSW 2066, overlooking the picturesque Lane Cove Golf Course.

Offering a contemporary dining experience in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, the venue caters to casual dining, family gatherings, special occasions and events. With a focus on quality food, fresh ingredients and exceptional hospitality, Galuwa Dining aims to provide an enjoyable dining experience for the local community and visitors alike.

The Position – Chef

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our kitchen team and contribute to delivering high-quality food and maintain excellent culinary standards.

Responsibilities

- Plan and develop menus in consultation with management.
- Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes in accordance with restaurant standards.
- Monitor food quality,



portion sizes and presentation standards.
- Estimate food requirements, manage inventory and coordinate ingredient orders.
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Train and guide kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and WHS regulations.
- Monitor food costs, minimise wastage and maintain kitchen efficiency.

What we offer

- Annual Base Salary: AUD$80,000-$85000 (38 hr/week)
- Plus Super, Allowance, Bonus.

Qualifications

- Cert.IV or Above.
- Minimum 01 year of work experience as a Chef.
