We have an exciting opportunity at Meriton Suites for a casual Reservations Specialist to join our Contact Centre team throughout the festive season. This opportunity is a short-term role, until the end of 2026 and based in our head office, located in the Sydney CBD. About the Role

As a casual Reservations Specialist,you will provide highly polished customer service, have impeccable listening and multi tasking skills, ability to solve problems and a genuine desire to ensure the best outcome for our guests. You will have access to Meriton Suites benefits including discounted hotel stays across Sydney, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Canberra and Melbourne. Your key responsibilities

Attend to guest’s calls and emails in a timely manner. Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, email, and online distribution platforms. Utilise sales techniques where possible, including personalising the call experience to better understand guest needs, make recommendations and upselling room upgrades for special occasions. Champion all properties’ information to ensure seamless communication to guests and potential guests.



Follow proper escalation procedures when addressing guest concerns. To be successful in this role you will bring:

Experience in the hospitality sector, customer service, guest support or related role. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of Property Management System and online booking platform is advantageous. An eye for details, especially when performing data entry tasks. Ability to work in a team environment. Availability to work casually rostered shifts across a rotating roster. Why Meriton Suites?
