As a Bakers Delight Sales Assistant, you'll be responsible for: Providing exceptional, friendly customer service with a smile Creating a welcoming experience for every customer Merchandising and presenting our freshly baked products Promoting recent products, specials and campaigns Cash handling and operating our point-of-sale system Maintaining high standards of bakery presentation and cleanliness Working together with your teammates to keep the bakery running smoothly What we're looking for
To be successful in this role,
you'll ideally have: A friendly, outgoing personality and a positive, can-do attitude Excellent communication and customer service skills A strong work ethic and willingness to learn Pride in your personal presentation and attention to detail The ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment A reliable, punctual and team-focused approach Previous retail or customer service experience (preferred but not essential) Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts Weekday daytime availability is highly desirable, with opportunities also available for early mornings, evenings and weekends.
