The Role: We are looking for a reliable and practically minded

Facilities Technician/Coordinator

to join our supportive team at Melbourne Airport site Performing routine maintenance and organising contractors; this role is ideal for someone who is looking for part time consistent work for a global company.

Roster: Monday to Friday - 20-30 hours available (Flexibility required) - 6 hours per day to begin with.

Responsibilities:

Document administration & maintenance, (e.g. purchase orders, budget tracker, invoicing & maintenance of Log Register).

Supervise suppliers and service providers for project work and daily repairs.

Review Maintenance reports and organize work, as necessary.

Effective follow up with suppliers until satisfactory and timely job completion.

Management of Compliance documents,



(Permits & Insurance Certificates, Safety Documents for Suppliers)

Ensuring that contractors are completing preventative maintenance as scheduled.

Perform maintenance observations.

Carrying out basic maintenance and repair tasks.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience as a technician within the maintenance/service industry

Previous experience in trades coordination or directing contractors/subcontractors

Have valuable communication skills (both verbal and written).

Competent computer skills (Excel, Word etc..)

Trade certificate would be advantageous.

Possess a current Driver's license.
