Restaurant & Bar All Rounder

to join our hospitality team in Bundoora, Victoria.

This is a

full-time

position offering the opportunity to work across both our restaurant and bar operations in a dynamic and fast-paced hospitality environment. Starting out as a casual position, until proven.

Key responsibilities

Provide professional and attentive table service to guests in the restaurant, taking orders and serving food and beverages with excellence

Deliver exceptional bar service, including preparing and serving drinks, managing the till, and maintaining bar hygiene standards

Welcome and seat guests in a warm and professional manner, responding to their needs promptly and courteously

Clear and reset tables efficiently, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout service

Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction

Process payments accurately using point-of-sale systems and handle cash with integrity

Maintain knowledge of our menu, specials, and beverage offerings to make informed recommendations to guests

Assist with general duties including stock rotation, restocking supplies, and maintaining a clean and organised work environment

Adapt flexibly to different service settings, whether busy periods, special events, or quieter shifts

What we're looking for

Previous experience in restaurant or bar service, or a combination of hospitality roles demonstrating versatility

Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests in a friendly and professional manner

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, working collaboratively with colleagues across all departments





Proficiency in operating point-of-sale systems and handling cash transactions accurately

Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, including health and safety compliance

Physical capability to stand for extended periods and carry items safely during service

Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required

A positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to delivering high‑quality guest experiences

Preferred: Current responsible service of alcohol certification or willingness to obtain it

Preferred: Experience in a similar multi‑faceted hospitality role or fine dining establishment
