About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic and style-conscious individuals to join our team as Christmas Casual Stylists at our Myer Maroochydore store location. This is a casual position perfect for those looking to gain retail experience during the festive season. As a Casual Stylist, you will be at the heart of our retail operations, providing expert styling advice and creating memorable shopping experiences for our customers. This role is ideal for those with a passion for fashion and a genuine desire to help customers discover their perfect Rodd & Gunn look.
Key responsibilities
- Provide personalised styling advice and product recommendations to customers, ensuring they find pieces that suit their individual style and requirements
- Maintain excellent product knowledge of the Rodd & Gunn collection, including new arrivals, seasonal items and key pieces
- Create welcoming and engaging in-store experiences that reflect the Rodd & Gunn brand values and aesthetic
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation, ensuring the retail space is inviting and well-organised
- Assist with stocktaking, stock rotation and inventory management as required
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to a positive store atmosphere
- Handle customer enquiries and concerns professionally and courteously
What we're looking for
- A genuine passion for fashion and menswear styling with an eye for quality and detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with customers from diverse backgrounds
- Strong customer service orientation and commitment to delivering exceptional shopping experiences
- Reliability and flexibility, with the ability to work casual hours including weekends and peak trading periods during the Christmas season
- A positive attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Previous retail or customer-facing experience is advantageous but not essential; we welcome applications from enthusiastic first-time workers
