Autex is a global leader supplying a diverse range of interior acoustic products for walls and ceilings to markets all over the world. We manufacture and dispatch these products across Australia from our Victorian operations. We are made up of experienced individuals who operate in a supportive and close network.
To cater for a restructure within our QLD customer service department, we’re looking for a Customer Service and Sales Support Officer to join our team.
This is an ideal position for candidates to grow as the company grows!
Your key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- Input and manage jobs from start to finish, in an accurate and timely manner via phone and email.
- Ensure our project timelines are met by anticipating and managing potential and emerging issues.
- Collaborate across the business and work with cross functional team members and stakeholders to update all parties on the status of current projects.
- Manage enquiries in a timely manner, ensuring they are addressed, resolved or referred to the appropriate areas.
- Manage the order lifecycle, ensuring that lead times and customer communications are maintained.
- Work closely with production and inventory to understand issues that may impact order delivery;
- Inbox management of inquiries and orders, ensuring all inquiries are attended to by yourself or teammates.
As the ideal candidate for the role, you will have:
- Experience in Customer Service/ Sales Support in manufacturing or supply chain industry.
- A technical aptitude and desire to learn new skills.
- An ability to learn recent software packages and proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to quickly build rapport with people at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high quality and focus on the details
- A positive and friendly demeanour
