Confident on the phone, resilient and ready for your next challenge? Bring your sales or customer service experience into healthcare recruitment, with hands-on training from two experienced recruiters.
About Alor Group:
Alor Group has been partnering with healthcare organisations nationally since 2014 across our core recruitment pillars Nursing & Midwifery, Aged Care, Allied Health and Medical Imaging.
Due to growth across our established Hospital Nursing & Midwifery division, we’re seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to support an active permanent recruitment desk with strong client demand. Based in a modern shared workspace in Riva Offices Bundall, you’ll work alongside two experienced recruiters across Midwifery, Theatre & Perioperative, Critical Care and Wards Nursing.
The Opportunity:
This is a phone-focused role combining passive candidate sourcing, relationship building and recruitment marketing, with practical training and ongoing guidance from experienced recruiters.
You’ll work towards clear performance expectations and KPIs. Success requires excellent customer service, strong relationship-building skills and the resilience to manage setbacks, adapt to changing priorities and maintain momentum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and engage nursing professionals through SEEK, LinkedIn, social media, referrals and our internal CRM.
- Conduct outbound calls to build candidate relationships, goals and introduce suitable opportunities.
- Screen candidates to understand their clinical experience, qualifications, availability and employment preferences.
- Present opportunities accurately and prepare clear screening notes and candidate summaries for consultant review.
- Create job advertisements and support targeted social media and email campaigns across nursing specialties.
- Coordinate interviews, assist with candidate documentation and deliver excellent customer service through timely communication and follow-up.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and develop candidate pipelines across priority specialties and locations.
- Work towards agreed activity and quality KPIs, taking ownership of outcomes and responding constructively to feedback and changing priorities.
About You:
- Excellent customer service: You listen carefully, build trust and provide a professional, responsive candidate experience.
- Resilience and adaptability: You stay motivated through unsuccessful outreach, handle setbacks constructively and adjust to changing priorities.
- Confidence on the phone: You’re comfortable initiating conversations, asking effective questions and generating interest in opportunities.
- A results-focused approach: You’re comfortable working towards KPIs and understand the importance of consistent effort and quality.
- Organisation and accountability: You manage follow-up, maintain accurate records and do what you say you will.
- A willingness to learn: You apply coaching, seek guidance and take ownership of your development.
We encourage applications from people with sales, customer service, contact centre or other customer-facing experience. Current or completed studies in Human Resources, Marketing or Business are highly regarded.
Previous recruitment or healthcare experience is not essential. Practical training and ongoing support will be provided.
