About the Role

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Duty Manager to join our team at one of Western Australia's most iconic locations. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a busy venue, takes pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences, and can confidently manage the day-to-day operations of a high-performing restaurant.

What You'll Be Doing

- Leading the front of house team throughout your shift, setting the tone for service excellence

- Liaising with the kitchen team to ensure smooth, seamless service

- Working closely with the General and Operations Manager to uphold venue standards and strategic goals

- Managing stock control, ordering, and waste reduction

- Overseeing staff training, rostering, and performance

- Handling cash management, daily financial transactions, and contributing to budget oversight

- Monitoring cost of goods, payroll, and operational efficiencies

- Maintaining compliance with health, safety, food handling, and RSA regulations

- Positively reinforcing venue policies, procedures, and house rules

- Supporting local marketing initiatives and helping build strong community relationships





What We're Looking For

- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a hospitality management role, with at least 2 years managing a restaurant

- A degree or diploma in hospitality management or business is preferred — equivalent experience will be considered

- Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification

- Food Safety Supervisor certification (preferred)

- Approved Manager certification MLP1 (preferred)

- Strong computer experience with POS systems (H&L; highly regarded)

- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

- High level of customer service orientation with a keen eye for detail

- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting

- Well-presented and professional at all times

- Availability to work evenings, weekends, school and public holidays (essential)
