All Aspects Excavator Hire is seeking an experienced Posi Track/Excavator Operator to join our team on a full-time basis in Hervey Bay, QLD. This is a key operational role that plays a vital part in the successful delivery of our construction and earthmoving projects. As a Posi Track/Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating machinery to complete excavation, grading, and material handling tasks on various construction sites. Your expertise and attention to safety will be essential to maintaining our reputation for quality workmanship and reliable service.
Key responsibilities
- Operate posi track and excavators with final trim precision
- Hr License at a minimum
- Perform pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance checks on all equipment
- ability to work away Monday - Friday
- Work collaboratively with site supervisors, project managers and other team members to ensure tasks are completed on schedule
- Maintain accurate records of equipment operation and site activities
- Adhere to all workplace health and safety regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment
- Respond promptly to equipment issues and report maintenance requirements to supervisors
- Operate equipment in challenging terrain and varying weather conditions whilst maintaining productivity and safety standards
What we're looking for
- Current and valid ticket for operating excavators and/or posi track equipment
- Proven experience operating posi tracks and excavators on site - with a minimum 5 years experience
- Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements in the construction industry
- Excellent understanding of equipment operation, maintenance and safe handling practices
- Strong communication skills and the ability to take direction from site supervisors
- Physical fitness and capability to perform the demands of the role
- Reliable, punctual and committed to delivering quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- A valid driver's licence
