Positions Available

Teacher - Early Childhood 1.0 FTE Ongoing

Teacher - Primary 0.4 FTE Ongoing

Teacher - Music 0.25 FTE Ongoing

Qualifications and Skills

- Relevant teaching qualifications including current TRBWA, WWCC and Mandatory Reporting

- Experience and knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum, EYLF, NQS and ACARA as relevant for the role

- A creative and engaging teaching style combining child-centred, play-based learning with explicit teaching strategies

- The ability to build respectful, inclusive and positive relationships with students, and in partnership with families

- An understanding and use of social and emotional learning techniques e.g. Virtues, NVC, or a willingness to undertake training

- A willingness to undertake training in and embrace the principles of the School’s Effective Parenting Programme, i.e. STEP (Promoting Logical Consequences and Intrinsic Rewards)

- Demonstrated commitment to child safety and understanding of Child Safety Standards
