Your Career Pathway

Electrician → Leading Hand → Foreman → Project Management

We're building a team for the long term and want to develop the right people into future leaders.

You'll have the opportunity to manage electrical work independently, while working closely with the business owner to develop your skills in job coordination, leadership and project management.

You'll have the opportunity to progress into roles such as:

- Leading Hand: Taking ownership of jobs, organising work and supporting other team members.

- Foreman: Coordinating trades, managing site activities, planning labour and materials, and keeping projects moving.

- Project Management: Developing an understanding of project planning, client relationships, budgets, scheduling and successful project delivery.

Progression will depend on your experience, performance and opportunities available as the business develops.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll work across a broad range of electrical projects, including:

- Residential and commercial installations

- Council and infrastructure projects

- Underground electrical work

- Switchboard upgrades

- Solar installations





- Refurbishments across healthcare, industrial and retail facilities

- Fault finding, maintenance and repairs

As you develop, you'll have opportunities to take on more responsibility for coordinating people, materials, site activities and project delivery.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced, capable electrician who is confident working independently, takes ownership of their work and can deliver quality results without constant supervision.

We're after someone who is already skilled on the tools, has solid fault-finding and problem-solving abilities, and wants to continue developing both technically and professionally.

The right person will:

- Be a competent, confident electrician who can independently carry out electrical installations, maintenance and fault finding.

- Take genuine pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.

- Have strong problem-solving skills and take initiative when challenges arise.

- Communicate confidently with customers, builders and other trades.

- Be organised, accountable and capable of managing their own workload.

- Have an interest in developing leadership and job management skills.

- Bring a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Essential requirements:

- Current QLD Electrical Work Licence

- Australian Driver's Licence (Manual preferred)

- White Card

Current CPR/LVR is preferred.
