Pentana Solutions has been powering the automotive industry for over 50 years, with more than 600 people across 13 offices globally. Our Automotive Consulting Services team brings specialist automotive expertise to dealerships, helping them run more efficiently and give their customers a better experience. The opportunity: You'll work hands-on with dealerships to solve their business and technical challenges. You'll deliver franchise additions, buy/sells for dealership acquisitions and disposals, data conversions and merges, data cleansing, and chart of accounts conversions. You'll take part in requirements meetings, keep customers and internal teams updated as work progresses, and give specialist advice to other parts of the business. Some jobs take a few hours, others run for months. You'll report to our Team Leader, Automotive Consulting Services. Why this role exists right now: Our customers rely on us when their business changes, whether they're taking on a current brand, buying or selling a dealership, or cleaning up their data. We need a technical consultant who can deliver that work accurately and keep customers confident along the way. What you'll bring:
• Hands-on TCL programming, plus Unix or Linux experience.
• Multivalue database (MVDB) programming experience.
• eraPower knowledge across Parts, Service, Showroom and Accounting.




• An automotive industry background, ideally working with dealerships.
• Strong customer service, communication and time management skills. What to expect: Two things to know going in. First, accuracy and integrity matter here. You'll be moving and converting the data dealerships run their business on, so getting it right first time is essential. Second, this is a customer-facing role.
