This role involves providing individual support services and direct care for people with disability.

Key responsibilities

Provide individual support services and direct care for people with disability

Provide accurate and detailed incident reports, progress notes and shift handovers

Support with domestic activities and assistance with personal care

Manual handling including hoist transfers – manual, electric / assisted standing

Medication assistance via PEG

Respiratory support (suctioning, nebuliser, BiPAP overnight)

Continence care (pads, hygiene, bowel management)

Skin integrity & pressure care monitoring

Oral sensorimotor therapy (Z-Vibe program)

Hourly rate in line with the SCHADS awards





Flexible schedule and the opportunity to work with a diverse community of individuals and families

Options to work weekdays, evenings, weekends and overnights

About you

Experienced in PEG feeding and enteral nutrition support

Ideally from a nursing, medical, allied health, or other clinical background

Confident following clinical instructions, care plans, and established procedures

Comfortable supporting complex or higher-care needs

Ability to work independently and effectively manage time

Experience with complex behavioral situations

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (or equivalent experience)

Current First Aid and CPR

NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check, and current Australian Driver's Licence, car and insurance
