SAFESCOPE is looking for an experienced Technical Writer with a safety focus for one of our mining clients in Kwinana. The role is about turning complex Work Health and Safety requirements into clear, practical documents that people on site can actually use.

• Start: Immediate What you’ll be doing:
• Writing, reviewing and updating safety documentation, including procedures, work instructions, safe work method statements, management plans and risk assessments
• Making sure documents line up with the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 (WA) and the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022 (WA)
• Working with the client’s site,
operations and HSE teams to collect technical information and turn it into transparent, consistent documents
• Keeping document control and version management tidy and up to date What you’ll bring:
• Demonstrated experience in the mining industry
• A strong working knowledge of the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 (WA) and the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022 (WA)
• Proven technical writing experience in a safety or compliance setting
• The ability to write clearly and simply for frontline workers as well as for management
• Availability to start immediately
