IMMEDIATE START We are seeking an Intermediate / Graduate or Under graduate Tax Accountant to join our growing accounting practice in Campsie. This is a part-time role (3 days per week to start), with strong potential to transition into a full-time position for the right candidate. About the Role
You will be responsible for a range of day-to-day accounting and taxation tasks, including:
• Must be proficient in using MYOB & XERO, all modules other than INVENTORY. PAYROLL is an absolute must
• Eventually you will be preparing financial statements for multiple entity types.
• Eventually you will be managing and processing all types of tax returns
• Performing account reconciliations
• Liaising directly with clients and delivering high-quality service
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Supporting ongoing process improvements within the firm

• Third-year undergraduate applicants must have successfully completed their taxation subjects
• Previous experience in an Australian accounting firm is highly regarded but not essential
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency with HandiTax & HandiLedger, Xero, MYOB, Excel, Word and AI tools (or a willingness to learn)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and time-management skills
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Full Australian working rights
