About the Role
You will support the Cafe Manager to run daily service at our busy South Yarra cafe. Lead from the floor, coach the team, meet service standards and help grow sales through great customer experiences. Your life will never be dull as our customers love us and we love them Pop in and see our busy cafe and share in the ambience. We are known for fantastic coffee, amazing French cakes and pastries all handmade, and a great customer experience. About You We are looking for someone who is passionate about people, loves leading a team to excellence and thrives in a busy environment. Oh and you must genuinely love hospo, like we do Responsibilities
• Coach baristas and cafe team members on service standards
• Lead the team through busy service periods
• Drive upselling and sales
• Manage service flow and resolve customer issues
• Support stock ordering, waste and roster planning
• Open and close the cafe Skills and Experience
• Hospo experience is a must
• Cafe or retail supervisor experience
