You’ll prepare nutritious, appealing meals tailored to residents’ individual needs, including texture-modified diets, helping ensure every resident enjoys food prepared with care and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare nutritious, well-presented meals to consistently high standards




• Prepare texture-modified meals and accommodate individual dietary requirements
• Manage food preparation, bulk cooking and daily kitchen priorities efficiently
• Create enjoyable dining experiences through quality food and respectful, attentive service
• Uphold food safety, hygiene and kitchen compliance requirements About You Desired Skills and Experience
• A recognised trade qualification in cookery
• Experience in aged care catering, with an understanding of residents’ dietary needs and dining preferences
• Confidence preparing texture-modified meals and catering to specialised dietary requirements
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently in a busy kitchen
• A commitment to culinary quality, consistency, presentation and resident wellbeing
• Willingness to meet site pre-employment requirements, including a National Police Check and flu vaccination
