Location:
Hobart, Indiana A hands-on job with solid pay, outstanding advantages, and a path to grow at Ozinga. Learn the testing side of the concrete business. Build skills you can use for years. This is a strong next step for someone with experience in concrete, construction, manufacturing, or plant operations. Lab experience is not required. What you’ll do
• Test cement and related materials to support concrete quality
• Prep, label, and track samples; keep results organized
• Use and check lab equipment; keep tools in good working order
• Maintain clear records and follow safe work practices
• Work closely with the Lab Director and the Technical Services team What you bring
• High school diploma (required)
• Valid driver’s license (required)
• Hands-on and able to use tools and equipment safely
• Department of Transportation (DOT) or American Concrete Institute (ACI) certification is a plus, but not required
• Dependable: you show up, follow steps, and ask questions when unsure
• Basic computer skills (entering results, tracking samples, email)
• Construction, concrete, or industrial experience is a plus
• Concrete testing or materials testing experience is a plus (you don’t need it to apply) Physical Requirements
• Frequently lift or carry up to 55 pounds
• Occasionally lift up to 100 pounds
• Stand, walk, bend, climb, and work on uneven ground as needed Schedule
• Monday




- Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
• Occasional extended hours or weekend work
• Includes periodic rotational Saturdays
