Job Description
Construction Equipment Australia (CEA) is looking for an experienced Parts Salesperson to join our WA team. This is a outstanding opportunity for someone who knows their way around parts and enjoys helping customers find the right solution quickly. Whether your background is in automotive, agriculture, construction equipment, heavy machinery or a similar industry, if you have strong parts interpreting experience and enjoy working with customers, we’d love to hear from you. What You'll Be Doing As part of our Parts team, you'll be responsible for:
• Interpreting and identifying parts for customers, technicians and internal teams
• Handling incoming parts enquiries by phone, email and over the counter
• Preparing quotes and processing customer orders
• Providing knowledgeable and responsive customer service




• Following up quotes, orders and outstanding enquiries
• Checking parts availability and sourcing solutions when stock isn't immediately available
• Supporting our Service team with parts requirements for repairs and maintenance
• Building strong relationships with existing customers
• Identifying opportunities to grow parts sales
• Assisting with stock control and general Parts Department activities
• Working closely with the wider branch team to deliver a great customer experience What We're Looking For For this role, you'll need:
• A minimum of 3 years' parts interpreting experience within the automotive, agriculture, machinery or similar industry
• Strong parts identification and interpreting skills
• Good mechanical aptitude and an understanding of machinery or vehicle components
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Confidence dealing with customers over the phone and face-to-face
• Good computer skills and the ability to learn parts and inventory systems
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• The ability to manage multiple enquiries and priorities in a busy environment
• A proactive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Experience with construction or earthmoving equipment would be highly regarded, but isn't essential if you bring solid parts interpreting experience from a related industry. Desired Skills And Experience Why join CEA?
