About The Role
Take your surveying career further with Ertech on Barrow Island, working across varied construction scopes in a Class A Nature Reserve environment. We’re seeking a full-time Surveyor to join our established team, undertaking setting out, as-builts, utility location, concrete works, dimensional control and laser scanning using Leica equipment. Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Geospatial Manager, you’ll provide survey support to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery.
• Deliver topographic, construction, as-built and End of Month surveys.
• Set out civil and concrete works, interpret engineering drawings and identify design discrepancies.
• Liaise with engineers, clients and subcontractors to resolve survey requirements and maintain progress.
• Operate, maintain and calibrate surveying equipment and utilise relevant software.
• Promote safe work practices, uphold HSEQ standards and support junior team members. To be successful,



you will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
• Tertiary study in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering or related field Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma (preferred).
• Remote Pilots Licence (RePL) and Aviation Radio Operators Certificate (AROC) (desirable).
• Relevant experience within the Civil and Infrastructure industry.
• Proficiency in surveying software and equipment, including Total Stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, and data processing software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
