About the role
We’re looking for an experienced People & Culture Advisor to provide practical, commercial and confident P&C; support to leaders across our business. This is a genuinely hands-on generalist role with a strong focus on employee relations, case management and coaching leaders. You’ll independently manage a range of people matters from end to end in a quick paced retail environment, partnering with leaders to navigate performance, grievances, workplace issues and change while providing sound advice on employment legislation, policies and the General Retail Industry Award. You’ll contribute to broader P&C; initiatives spanning engagement, capability, workforce planning, talent and organisational change. It’s a great opportunity for an Advisor who enjoys being close to the business, solving problems and building trusted relationships with leaders. What you’ll be doing

• Coach and guide leaders through people matters, building their confidence and capability to manage issues effectively
• Provide practical advice on employment legislation, industrial instruments, policies and employment conditions
• Partner with leaders to deliver consistent, practical, commercially focused P&C; solutions aligned to business priorities
• Support workforce planning, organisational change, talent and engagement initiatives
• Support learning and development initiatives that strengthen leadership and people-management capability
• Build strong partnerships across P&C; and the broader business to deliver a responsive, trusted advisory service What you’ll bring You’re a P&C; generalist who is comfortable taking ownership, exercising judgement and working through complex people matters with confidence. You balance empathy with commercial thinking and know how to build trust while providing clear, pragmatic advice. Ideally, you’ll bring:
• Around 2–5 years’ generalist HR / People & Culture experience
• Strong employee relations capability, with demonstrated experience independently managing cases end to end
• Experience with case management, performance matters and workplace investigations

• Working knowledge of relevant employment legislation
• Strong coaching, influencing and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to partner with leaders at different levels
• Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and competing demands
• A commercial, solutions-focused mindset and high attention to detail
• A HR or business-related qualification Why join Hanes Australasia? You’ll be part of a supportive P&C; team with the opportunity to deepen your ER/IR expertise, partner with experienced leaders and contribute to initiatives that have a real impact on our people and business. With iconic brands, genuine development opportunities and a varied portfolio of work, no two days will look quite the same.
