About the role

Lionza Security is seeking a full-time Systems Analyst to analyse and improve the ICT systems and technology-enabled processes supporting our security operations.

Reporting to the Director, you will work with management, operations staff, system users and technology providers to assess existing systems, document requirements and coordinate approved improvements. These systems support workforce rostering, guard deployment, attendance monitoring, patrol management, incident reporting and client reporting.

Key responsibilities

- Consult with management and system users to gather, analyse and document business and ICT requirements.
- Evaluate existing ICT systems, workflows and procedures, identify limitations and recommend suitable improvements.
- Assess options for system modifications, additional components, integrations and new solutions.
- Develop functional specifications, process maps, system workflows and supporting requirements documentation.
- Liaise with software vendors, developers and users to coordinate approved system improvements and integrations.
- Develop and execute system test plans, coordinate user acceptance testing and document results against agreed requirements.
- Support implementation and deployment of approved solutions and assess whether changes meet operational needs.
- Prepare user guides, system documentation and training materials, and train relevant users.




- Provide management and users with guidance on system functionality and improvement options.

Skills and experience

- A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related ICT discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience in systems analysis, requirements gathering and business-process analysis.
- Ability to develop functional specifications, process maps, workflows and clear system documentation.
- Experience with system testing, user acceptance testing and implementation of ICT solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to translate operational requirements into practical system solutions and work effectively with users and technology providers.

Experience with workforce management, CRM, reporting or other operational business systems will be highly regarded. Experience in security services, facilities management or a comparable service-delivery setting is desirable.
